FAQ:

How long does it take to get results? Results are typically seen very quickly within a month or two of training. Results can be anything from weight loss, improved sleep, reduce stress, and improved brain function.

How long do I have to do this for? This will depend on you. We see clients maintain some health behavior change with a 6 months - 1 year program. We also have clients that have been with us for 4 - 5 years because this helps them maintain the progress they’ve achieved and avoid health problems that typically leads to surgery.

How much does this cost? Programs range anywhere between 350 - 800 per month.

How often should I workout? In an ideal situation, we want clients to work with weights around 2 -3 days per week but try to walk or do some type of physical activity every day. The Surgeon General recommends 30 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic physical activity per day for 5 days per week, or 20 minutes of vigorous intensity aerobic physical activity for 3 days per week

Want to learn the most effective way to lose body fat and get back into shape in 2024!?

Contrary to the allure of shortcuts and quick fixes, we recognize that sustainable change comes from addressing multiple aspects of your life. Our program delves into Environmental Conditions (considering what’s in your fridge/pantry and who influences you), Mentality (exploring your motivations and managing stress), Nutrition (evaluating how you fuel your body and your relationship with food), and Movement (incorporating various physical activities and exercises).

While many fall into the trap of relying on ineffective solutions like fat loss pills, injections, and fad diets, we've witnessed firsthand the futility of these approaches. People often cycle through these methods, losing 15-20lbs only to regain it shortly after, caught in a relentless loop of disappointment and hope. It's time to break free from this insanity loop and embrace a different path to wellness.

Our comprehensive approach has empowered numerous clients to shed the weight and maintain their newfound vitality. By understanding and transforming your lifestyle, mindset, nutrition, and physical activity, you can achieve lasting results. The Holistic Approach

Environment

We are shaped by our surroundings, emphasizing the importance of surrounding ourselves with wholesome food choices and positive influences.

The people we associate with — friends, family, co-workers — as well as the contents of our pantry and fridge, play a significant role in shaping our habits and decisions. Many of us find ourselves in environments where sedentary lifestyles and unhealthy eating are the norm.

This can lead to us accepting these behaviors as standard, consequently becoming more inactive and making poor food choices.

What can we do about it?

Connect with those in our program who have made significant strides in their fitness journey and take the initiative to declutter your fridge and pantry of unhealthy options!

Stress

Stress is fundamentally our body and mind's response to change. It's not always negative. Indeed, there are positive stressors, like exercise, exploring a new hobby, or receiving a promotion. Of course, negative stressors exist too, such as going through a divorce, overworking, or managing challenges with a boss.

According to AIS (2015), the primary cause of stress is job pressure, stemming from issues with co-workers, tensions, overwhelming workloads, and bosses.

Excessive negative stress can make weight loss challenging.

It's essential to pinpoint the sources of negative stress in your life, be it a demanding boss, overworking, or relationship issues. Once identified, determine the most effective approach for you to manage it, whether through coping strategies or seeking ways to alleviate the stressor.

Diet

Our relationship with food is deeply ingrained, often shaped by our upbringing and cultural norms. Many of us have grown up with directives like "finish your plate," a seemingly harmless instruction. Yet, with portion sizes having ballooned over the years, what does "finishing your plate" mean now? Have you observed the serving sizes lately?

Then there's the emotional baggage tied to certain foods. Feelings of guilt often accompany the consumption of foods labeled as "bad" – think bread, chips, chocolate, fries, burgers. However, assigning moral values to food is problematic. There's no inherent "good" or "bad" food. Rather, some foods are more calorically dense than others, meaning they pack a lot of energy (calories) but might be lacking in nutritional value. This doesn't mean one should never indulge in these treats. In fact, occasional indulgence can be part of a balanced lifestyle. Moderation, not deprivation, is key to weight loss and overall health.

Ultimately, shifting our mindset about food and diet can be a monumental task. It's essential to understand that food is more than just fuel; it's intertwined with our emotions, memories, and even our identities. By reframing our relationship with food, we can work towards healthier choices without the weight of unnecessary guilt or restrictive labels.

Exercise

Exercise is often referred to as a miracle pill, capable of addressing and preventing up to 80% of health concerns. It might be challenging to incorporate into our lives, but the benefits far outweigh the effort.

The average American annually spends approximately $8,700 on healthcare. In contrast, our global counterparts spend roughly $3,453. Yet, when it comes to health rankings, the U.S. finds itself at 32nd globally (OECD Health Statistics, 2015). Moreover, a typical retired couple is expected to shoulder an out-of-pocket healthcare cost of around $280,000 (Fidelity, 2018).

Choose to be exceptional. By embracing exercise, you can not only enhance your health but also make significant savings. It's alarming to note that 80% of Americans don't maintain a regular exercise routine (CDC, 2012).

Stretch

It's crucial.

Our bodies are constantly moving, often not in ways that support optimal function. This misalignment can lead to everyday aches. Without corrective action, these issues can escalate.

The progression:

Discomfort arises,

Pain or numbness sets in,

Pain worsens,

Expensive treatments or steroid shots,

Possible surgery.

Avoid this. STRETCH!

Many physical issues stem from tight or weak muscles. In fact, 80% of Americans will face low back pain at some point (NIH, 2018).

Stretching is a simple, cost-effective solution that can promote both physical and mental well-being.
